MAKER CLUB

Are you interested in helping make, Model, and design Accessible technologies for students in the district? Well, we have a club we think you’ll enjoy, it’s called Maker Club and we make and rewire toys and other tools to help students who can’t physically perform certain tasks that society has normalized in everyday toys and technologies. We meet Fridays at lunch and after school in room B220. Everyone is welcome no skills needed.

MUSICAL THEATRE

A reminder to all students wanting to audition for CAST or Pit Band, you must sign-up for an audition slot ASAP, in the hallway behind the theatre, outside of the theatre office.

Attention Grads! RE: Pinny Orders

Missed out on a Grad Pinny in the spring? Good news! Grad Pinny orders are now open on School Cash Online. Please make sure to place your order by September 24th if you would like to get one. This will be the Last Chance for ordering a Pinny.

 Still need to pick up an existing order? If you haven't collected your pinny yet, you can pick it up in the morning from B101 8:00-8:50AM, or at lunch over in the Social Commons.

DAILY REMINDERS:

Belmont is a scent free zone. Please do not use scented products while at school as others may have allergies or have medical conditions that are aggravated by scents.

o Parking on Glen Lake Road - Please note that the parking zone adjacent to the school on Glen Lake Road is a drop-off zone only. Overflow parking is located on the lower Goudy lot and along the Langford Parkway. Langford Bylaw will soon begin ticketing those who park for long periods of time in the drop-off zone.

o Grade 12 students: Please do not park in staff parking spots. Staff parking spots are the ones labeled STAFF

o Students, please make sure that you are packing a lunch or purchasing your lunch from our cafeteria. Skip the Dishes, Door Dash, and other delivery services are not permitted at Belmont.
