The SD 62 Middle Schools do a gradual entry for September which we have found is a great way for kids to transition back to school. Spencer staff will be outside to greet your child and let them know where to line up with their homeroom teacher. Class assignments will not be available before the first day of school. Please see below our first week schedule: 

• Tuesday, Sept. 8th - Gr 6 students only: 8:50-11:40 (buses run in both directions).
• Wednesday, Sept. 9th - Gr 7 students only: 8:50-11:40 (buses run in morning only, so please arrange for your child to get home).
• Wednesday, Sept. 9th  - Gr 8 students only: 12:15-2:50 (buses run to go home, but not to get to school).
• Thursday, Sept. 10th - all students attend, first full day.
• Friday, Sept. 11th – all students attend; Welcome Back BBQ

SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS ARE NOW LIVE FOR ORDER ON THE SCHOOL START WEBSITE!

Parents/Guardians can go directly to: https://schoolstart.ca/, and click on the following:

• Parents Shop Here
• Purchase School Supply Kits
• Select Province, then City, then School
• Lastly, they click on their grade and proceed from there

If needed, we also have a few new backpacks with basic school supplies available for students for next year. If you would like one, please connect with the office the week of August 31st and arrange a time to come by.
