Crystal View Elementary Hot lunch Program

As we get ready for another exciting year at school, it is also time to get the Hot Lunch Program up and running. We will be doing online ordering for all orders to ensure accuracy with the orders and to make the process as easy for everyone as possible.

Here's how to get started... Every parent needs to Re - Register each year.

• Click on "Click Here to Register"
• Enter Access Code CV2026/2027
• Complete the rest of the registration form. (Including your email address will ensure you receive reminder emails about hot lunch order deadlines, and your child's hot lunch order for the upcoming week)
• Click the "Register Now" button at the bottom
• Follow the instructions to add each child in your family who attends Crystal View. Once your child(ren) are registered, click on "Orders"

Bambora (Worldline)

We only accept hot lunch order payments through Bambora. No cheque or cash payments will be accepted at any time unless an agreement has been made with the Chomp Lunch coordinators before the deadline of each month. Contact: crystalviewchomp@gmail.com if needed.

The hot lunch online order system requires a small amount of setup time at the beginning as you must register each child you have attending our school prior to ordering hot lunch. Once the initial setup process is complete, your hot lunch orders for the remainder of the year should be quick and simple.

This year we have added the option to order three months at a time. Please note the cut off for each month's order is the 23rd of the prior month. Mark your Calendars! This is a strict deadline to ensure that our vendors have time to prepare such large orders. Account balances must be paid in full to continue ordering.

Hand Up for Families

We believe every child should be able to enjoy a hot lunch on Fridays. Our Donate-a-Meal program is funded through the generosity of other school families and is available to families in genuine need. All requests will be handled with care, respect and confidentiality.

If your family needs this support, please contact the school administration, Donna Sagodi at dsagodi@sd62.bc.ca, as soon as possible. An account will be set up so you can order a meal for your child each month, alongside their classmates, at no cost to you.

Volunteer Opportunity – Come Help Pack Lunches!

Join us at the school every Friday at 11:30 AM to help pack lunches. We spend about 45–60 minutes sorting, packing, setting up, and taking down. Please sign in at the office and grab a volunteer badge before joining us. It’s a fun, quick way to give back, and everyone is welcome any Friday you’re available!

Vendor Shout-Out!

We work closely with our vendors each year to ensure competitive pricing and to provide

options that meet a wide range of dietary needs. A big thank-you to this year’s partners:

• White Spot – always a fan favourite!
• Booster Juice – offering exciting new wraps and generously providing reduced pricing this year.
• Edo Japan – expanding its inclusive menu with a new gluten-free and vegetarian option.
• Pizza Hut – now proudly offering celiac-safe pizzas. Please note that celiac-safe pizzas are delivered uncut to help prevent cross-contamination.
• Subway – another crowd-pleaser and student favourite.
• Island Chef – a local business offering delicious comfort food, with gluten-free options available. While they take every possible precaution when preparing meals for individuals with celiac disease, a completely celiac-safe environment cannot be guaranteed.
