Hello Centre Mountain Lellum families! We have two times set aside for new students coming up in September   These dates are a great opportunity to get into the building to get a sense of the space and to ask general questions about middle school life at Centre Mountain Lellum.  The tours will be led by our counsellor, Michaeline Yarchuk.  No need to RSVP- please just meet outside the front doors of the school office at the designated time.

School Start-Up Schedule 2026-27

Tuesday, September 8 (8:45–11:30 AM) – Grade 6 Students Only

Students will gather at our turf field behind the school for 8:40AM. Parents/guardians (if accompanying students) will say goodbye in the student drop off area of our parking lot.

On the turf field, students will:

• Find their name on alphabetical class lists that staff members will be holding to help direct students
• Locate their teacher (holding a class sign)
• After a brief welcome, students will go to their classrooms with their teacher for orientation.
• Dismissal: 11:31 AM (see bussing notes below).

Wednesday, September 9:  Morning Session (8:40–11:30 AM) – Grade 7 Students Only

Students arrive for an 8:40 AM start and gather on the turf field behind the school.

Class lists will be posted in the Open Area near the Multi-Purpose Room.

Students will:

• Find their name on alphabetical class lists that staff members will be holding to help direct students
• Locate their teacher (holding a class sign)
• After a brief welcome, students will go to their classrooms with their teacher for orientation.
• Dismissal: 11:30 AM – Please note: No buses are available at this time; students will need their own transportation home.

Afternoon Session (12:05–2:41 PM) – Grade 8 Students Only

Students arrive for a 12:05 PM start and gather on the turf field behind the school.

Please note: No buses are available at this time; students will need their own transportation to school.

Students will:

• Find their name on alphabetical class lists that staff members will be holding to help direct students
• Locate their teacher (holding a class sign)
• Proceed to their classroom
• Dismissal:  2:40 pm

Thursday & Friday, September 10–11 (8:40 AM–2:41 PM)

Regular schedule for all students

All students attend full days.

Bussing Information

September 8 (Grade 6 only):

• Buses run in the morning (pick-up) and at 11:31 AM (dismissal)

September 9 (Grades 7 & 8):

• Buses run in the morning and after school

Important:

Grade 7 students need their own ride home at 11:30 AM

Grade 8 students need their own ride to school at 12:05 PM

September 10–11:

• Buses run morning and afternoon for all registered riders
