Charity Pumpkin Smash!

The Langford Firefighters Charitable Foundation has explicitly issued a challenge to all local schools for the upcoming Charity Pumpkin Smash.
The school that coordinates and brings the most pumpkins to the event will win a special fire truck visit from Langford Fire Rescue.
Quick Recap for the School Competition
  • The Goal: Get your school community to bring as many post-Halloween jack-o'-lanterns as possible to the drop zone.
  • Where to count them: Bring them directly to the Westshore Town Centre parking lot (near Cineplex Odeon).
  • When: Sunday, November 1, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
  • The Grand Prize: A personalized, exciting fire truck visit directly to the winning school campus!
Because this year's proceeds directly support the Flourish! School Food Society—which provides healthy meals and snacks to students in the community—the challenge is a fun way for local schools to directly support student nutrition
